ASME SA249 Welded stainless steel 316 tube Annealed / Pickled W.T. 0.035'' - 0.120''

Stainless steel is a steel alloy with increased corrosion resistance compared to carbon/alloy steel. Common alloying ingredients include chromium (usually at least 11%), nickel, or molybdenum. Alloy content often is on the order of 15-30%.

Common applications include food handling/processing, medical instruments, hardware, appliances, and structural/architectural uses.

1. As Welded

2. Outer Diameter Conditioned

3. Bead Hammered

4. Cold Drawn Outside Diameter

5. Welded & Drawn Over Mandrel

Spezilla manufactures a full range of stainless steel welded tube from a wide variety of corrosion-resistant alloys in many sizes. Configurations include coiled, straight, u-bends, or short cut-to-length parts. Spezilla's stainless steel welded tube is used in many industries, ranging from oil and gas to HVAC to automotive and many others. Spezilla’s stainless steel welded tubes are made to ASTM and/or ASME specifications as well as to customer specifications.

All of the stainless steel welded tube we produce begins its life as a welded tube. From there, we can do additional processing to the tube to reduce or essentially eliminate any evidence of a weld seam, or to achieve other goals such as very tight and consistent tolerances. Our welded and drawn over mandrel tubing is nearly indistinguishable from seamless tubing, and is often used as a less expensive substitute. Our five types of tubing are:
